SynthArt CD
is here! The first artistic product that is offered for online sale on the SynthArt site, is the long-awaited double set of multimedia CD-ROM's, called SynthArt and SynthArt Vol.II. These CDs accumulate most of my computer art works created since I began publishing them on this site in 1994. Most of these works you can find, of course, on various web pages here (in the so-called 'Rooms'), but now I'd prefer to call this experience previewing, since the online browsing can only give some approximate idea about the works' intended and complete artistic impact. Many of the digital compositions on SynthArt (like the animation clips) simply can not be represented fairly on a web site, due to the many natural limitations of the online media.
On each of the CDs you will find truly complete versions of my works, in their full size and uncompromised quality. No more waiting for a long image download time, no more net traffic jams and server failures, quit staring at a matchbox-sized half-minute clip, - now any person equipped with an average Pentium III PC, 32X CD-ROM drive and a sound-card (read these technical requirements carefully, though, before placing the order), can enjoy the many cutting-edge, full-screen and full-length shows on the SynthArt CD-ROM's. The amount of innovative effects and variety of the advanced software packages used is simply unparalleled for a single artist's work of this kind, not mentioning months and months of laborous and sophisticated work that had been put into making of this product.
It's worth mentioning here also that the owner of a SynthArt CD will also hear a fine quality soundtrack accompanying each (still or animated) sequence, and have the complete interactive control over the show's flow. Every single image and clip were given an individual attention in the product, being that a custom frame or a transition effect, while all the show's interface details featured on the CDs are themeselves works of art. All in all, the SynthArt multimedia CD-ROMs represent a revolutionary computer art product for which there is currently no analogues or similar works on the market.
What's on the CD-ROM's? (I hear you asking) Here's the brief list of features - what I call 'shows' - on them (follow the italicized links to come to the original SynthArt web pages demonstrating the 'web-friendly' versions of the works):
The SynthArt CD includes:
The credits for the many wonderful music tracks accompanying the shows go to the bands and musicians "Software", "Air", "The Beatles", "Alan Parson's Project", William Orbit, Mike Oldfield, Vangelis, Michael Brook, Harold Budd and Hector Zazou, Klaus Schulze, Frank Fischer, Yeskim, "Ashra", Victor Solomin. A more complete description of the SynthArt CD contents (actually, a copy of the CD-ROM's Readme docs) can be found here.
The SynthArt CD Vol.II includes:
The credits for the many wonderful music tracks accompanying the shows go to the bands and musicians "Software", Mo Boma, Michael Brooks, Antonio Vivaldi, Victor Solomin. A more complete description of the SynthArt CD contents (actually, a copy of the CD-ROM's Readme docs) can be found here.
If you are still unsure about purchasing of these CDs, I invite you to take
an extended tour through the SynthArt site's pages (click on the thumbnail at
the bottom, to get to its main entrance). Whenever you see the
icon attached to any of the featured artworks, this will mean that this piece
(the full-sized, commercial version of the work, that is) can be found on one
of the SynthArt CD-ROM's; on which one, should tell you the pop-up arriving
when you move the cursor over that icon.
Enjoy the SynthArt works and the site !
